Juror for the exhibit was Juan Logan, Associate Professor of Art and Director of Graduate Studies and Admissions for Studio Art at the UNC Chapel Hill. Juan Logan's work has been featured in over 250 solo and group exhibitions in venues across the US including the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Colorado, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson, and the Tweed Museum of Art in Duluth, Minnesota. Internationally, Logan's work has been exhibited in Beijing, China, Budapest, Hungary, Tidaholm, Sweden, Pretoria, South Africa, and Florence, Italy. His work is included in over 70 public and corporate collections including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Pennsylvania, the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Tennessee, the Museum of African American Art, Los Angeles and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.

The "I AM WOMAN" exhibit runs April 27 through June 8.

Fran Gardner "Handle with Care" mixed media Artwork in the "I AM WOMAN" exhibit is meant to speak to Womanhood, the Feminine or the Essence of being a Woman.
