Mary Goslen, an accomplished printmaker from Winston-Salem gave an excellent class in the art of design at the Kings Mountain Art Center Saturday, the 28th. The class learned basic principals of design elements and how to 'break the rule's' as well. The Art Center designs a silk screened calendar yearly with next year being the 25th consecutive design to be offered to the public. The proceeds from the sale go towards college scholarships for students in the art field. The center is proud to have accomplished a total amount upwards to $80,000.00 awarded to students over the past 25 years.
