"Art Jewels"
Nature inspired art by Jewel P. Elliott
June 15 - July 27
Kings Mountain Art Center. Sasi Artist Jewel P. Elliott has over 100 of her paintings and collages on exhibit at the Kings Mountain Art Center. Most are nature inspired, using flora and fauna of the region as her inspiration. Jewel P. Elliott is a long time member of Southern Arts Society and gives many selfless hours to the Art Center. She has taught adult and children's classes, handles the kitchen during receptions, makes the punch and does beautiful flower arrangements for all our events. There will be a Public Reception on Sunday June 29th from 1-4 pm. VOLUNTEERS are needed to Host at the Kings Mountain Art Center. Show YOUR support for Jewel and sign up to host during her exhibit. Jewel Reavis has composed an outline of tips for the artist wishing to enter the world of 'showing' their work. This may be a useful guide to all of us, even the seasoned pro as a reminder of basic show rules and definition's, also some etiquette on how to respond to a possible dissatisfying rejection! A must read for everyone...
